Nice kit - no volume control - This kit comes with a nice, long antenna wire, so you can place the end near a south facing window. The base is made of metal, which gives it enough weight to not tip over. I bought this because I didn t need the integral speakers that come with other kits - just wanted something small I cound use with headphones. Problem is, there s no volume control on this unit. The ouputs are line out, which assumes you re taking it as an input to something that does have a volume control. So, I need to get myself a set of headphones with a volume control. Otherwise, no complaints.
